New and Used Tubes We Are Buying

Prices given are for major brand US or W. European tubes. New tubes must be in their original boxes. Standard brand, International, and Shield brand are specifically not acceptable. Russian, Chinese, and Eastern European tubes are not acceptable. We can purchase up to 50 each of a type. Call or email us if you have more to sell. Please contact us first if you have tubes from military or factory bulk packs that are unboxed.

If you send tubes, please enclose a packing sheet listing the tubes and giving your name, address, phone, date of this list, whether you want rejects returned, and whether it is OK to downgrade to used if not acceptable as new. Please call or email us with any questions.

We reimburse UPS ground and Fedex ground rates in the continental US and parcel post from Alaska, Hawaii, and foreign countries. We will not accept CODs. Any unacceptable tubes will be returned, only if requested, at a minimum charge of $8.

We also buy some tube testers, sockets, and dial lamps. Send us a description for our offer. As it is impossible for any “buy” list to be totally comprehensive, feel free to send us your lists for our offer.

With so many tube types and so many variants, it is impossible for any list to be totally comprehensive. So, do not be afraid to ask us about buying tubes not on these lists.

Collectible Tubes: We are always buying tubes we feel are collectible or unusual. We pay a premium for some tubes with colored glass, early tubes with brass bases, and tubes with ceramic bases. We actively seek early tubes, developmental tubes, and laboratory samples. Please tell us what you have for our offer.

The Process: You pack and ship. We inspect and test. Then we pay. We reimburse for shipping, but not for packaging and packing materials. Turn-around time is typically 5 business days, depending on the size and complexity of the lot. Please remember to include contact information as well as where you want your payment sent.
